Kigali or Entebbe?

From Kigali you reach Bwindi’s south or Mgahinga in about 4–5 hours, so the trip feels relaxed. From Entebbe or Kampala the drive is a full day each way — the trek is still on day 2, but days 1 and 3 are mostly in the car. One popular trip starts in Kigali and ends in Entebbe, so you can fly in and out of different airports.
